So, I just didn’t think of this outcome, since one of my dearest friends is also pregnant with twin boys just weeks apart from us. We are over the moon! Witness this bizarre behavior:
Just read an article on Halloween Costumes for twin boys. Most of the historical ones do horrible things to one another other (Romulus & Remus!!), so the Weasley brothers, who open a joke shop, sound a lot more benign. Not that I am dressing anyone or any-belly up for Halloween just yet. In fact, I have no idea how to feed or house a baby or two, so I had probably better redirect my attentions just now. But what fun . . . the Weasleys! I think I remember they drive their mom nutters in the book, but she adores them.
Apples – No heartburn, no reflux, FIBER! I’m eating 2 at a time these days. Pinatas are harder to find downstate, so falling back on Honeycrisps when necessary. EAT LOTS OF APPLES, pregnant or not! They’ll be mushy and wrinkly and waxed and imported soon.
This apple from the Pacific Northwest is the result of a cross between a Gold Delicious and a Cox Orange Pippin. The Pinata Apple won “Apple of the Year 2004” honors in Europe. Its flavor is very sweet and it has a soft texture. Wonderful for cooking or eating out of hand! Available through May or until the grower sells out.
But I’m going to show you the week 15 picture, since I actually combed my hair and put on something besides sweatpants for this one.
I know if it wasn’t for the amazing invention of the ultrasound machine, we would still be totally in the dark about the twins. I’m so thankful to live during these times . . . and you don’t hear that very often these days!
