Put Down the Duckie

You asked for it (and I only have a few readers, so I have to keep the ones I have happy!). I have NEVER seen this. THANK YOU.  A whole different era on the Street. I love Itzhak Pearlman, and Paul Simon, and those African guys, and everyone! But who the heck are the two straight-faced people in the Mr. Rogers sweaters and the jammin’ lady in the leopard print blouse & pencil skirt?!

It’s a magical mystery tour of the ’80’s with a heavy representation of the SNL regulars. The stone faced couple are the maid and butler (Rose and Hudson(?)) from Upstairs, Downstairs, as was the very dashing/dancing Jeremy Irons. Thought the leopard lady was Gilda Radner at first glance, but don’t think that’s right.

Still my favorite SS skit of all times. Can’t wait to show PLW.

Leopard Lady is a vey young Ruth Buzzi, the beaked-nose funny lady of SNL. No more IDs to offer but will playPDTD whenever the day is gloomhy. xxx

I don’t know how to copy a link, but this great page lists ALL the guests who ever appeard on SS, by category. It’s alot of fun to look through.

How have I held a job as a ‘Tech support’ person for all these years and I don’t know how to copy a link? But, I can help you set up your network with my eyes closed.
